Assassin from the Past
- Doubles as Tearjerker, but Lelouch managed to pull off a Heroic Sacrifice to save Shirley from Rolo, and in the brief time he has left, explain his motivations to the distraught Shirley and Geass Rolo to obey whatever orders she gives. Guy made sure to leave her everything she'd need.
- The entire event could be summed up as 'Shirley becomes a badass'. To summarise;
- After the above, she decides to don the mantle of Zero, leading the Black Knights in their revolution, and succeeds! No Geass or genius required, just the absolute faith in love and others to pull them together.
- She successfully Out Gambitted Ohgi and Viletta with help from Rolo, Sayoko, and Jeremiah. Doubles as Laser-Guided Karma given the former pureblood manipulating her in the past.
- She and C.C. manage to prevent Suzaku from firing the F.L.E.I.J.A. warhead, saving thousands of lives in the process.
- After all of the above, she reveals her face and Lelouch's fate to Suzaku, Kallen, and Nunnally, and calls out the former when he refuses to believe his former friend made a Heroic Sacrifice.
