Clyde S. here was pushing Erie Trader across Lake St Clair, just before dark. That’s Detroit in the distance off the bow of the barge.

Valerie B runs the RORO barge between the mainland and the Soo lock island.

Soo USACE now has both the new Louisiana-built tugboats,

R J Pearce and

H J Lawson.

Also at work at the Soo was Silverback Marine’s OX!

And finally, this long-distance shot shows Ocean Tower at the Mackinac Bridge. She’s on her way to pick up another large crane in Manitowoc, which I’m told she’ll tow to . . .

Hawaii! Just half a year ago she was here to pick up a crane to tow to Washington state!
