The Fresh and Fancy event, running from 2024/3/10 11:00 to 2024/3/17 04:00 UTC+9, is a Bingo-style MR event that allows players to obtain the Fresh and Fancy MR series:

Event Gameplay

Players will begin the event by selecting a card to target; note that once chosen, this selection cannot be changed.

After selecting a card, a 5 x 5 Bingo board will appear; players may spend Shaving Tool x100 to flip over one random tile and receive a random amount of Stellin. Rewards will be given out for each completed line, and the selected MR card will be granted upon board completion (25 tiles). Players may obtain Shaving Tools through event tasks; if the player has no more Shaving Tools, it's possible to exchange S-Chips at a rate of 1:1.

A total of Shaving Tool x1,500 are available if all event tasks are completed for the entire event duration. Additionally, DAVIS will send the player Shaving Tool x100 by mail to begin the event, meaning the player's first card will have an up-front cost of S-Chip x900 (final cost of S-Chip x700 with the line completion rewards of S-Chip x200). Subsequent cards will cost S-Chip x2,500 each as there will be no more tasks available to earn Shaving Tools. With the line completion and event tasks rewards, the second and third card will have a final cost of S-Chip x2,100 per card and the fourth card S-Chip x2,300.

Note that all four cards must be completed to obtain the Celebration - Fancy Namecard. Assuming all tasks are completed, with all line completion and cumulative task rewards, this results in a final cost of S-Chip x7,200 for the namecard. (8,400 - 800 for 8x diagonal line completions - 400 for tasks)

Tip: There are AP-free debates in Lost Gold DLC and Skadi DLC that can be used to fulfill event tasks such as "Use X cards in debates" and "Refute X arguments in debates".

Rerun

The Fresh and Fancy event will see a limited-time rerun from 2025 Apr 9 11:00 to Apr 14 04:00 (UTC+9). During the event, the bingo board will return, and Shaving Tool packs will once again be available for purchase in the mall. Players will be able to play all four rounds again if desired, though it should be noted that progress will not be carried over from the previous event run, and that no task list or other source of Shaving Tools will be available other than the Mall. Players wishing to obtain one or more of the MR cards during the event rerun should expect to spend S-Chip x2,300 per card after line completion rewards (or equivalent price in the shop).
