Founded by Chef-Owner Rosie Furnival whose adventurous culinary journey spans ski resorts, global travels, and even the Arctic Circle, The Fig is a true indie gem. Rosie’s passion for evolving the menu and interior design ensures the space and dishes are always fresh, personal, and full of energy.

Can I bring children?
Absolutely. The Fig is family friendly for brunch, lunch, and our 5pm dinner. From 6pm we’re adults only (12+). Please supervise children and be mindful of others. As space is limited, we don’t have high chairs and can’t always accommodate pushchairs during busy times.
Are dogs welcome?
Yes. Quiet, well behaved dogs on leads are welcome for brunch and lunch, but not in the evening. We kindly ask that paws stay on the floor and that dogs remain calm and considerate of other guests during your visit.
Do you have parking?
We don’t have our own car park, but there are pay and display options nearby, including Lucknow Place and Bedford Place. On street parking is available for two hours until 6pm and free from 6pm to 9am.
Do I need to book in advance?
We’re walk ins only until 5pm. Dinner bookings are recommended and can be made on OpenTable for groups up to five. Larger groups, please email to check availability and receive our £35 per person pre order menu.
Do you cater for dietary requirements or intolerances?
We always do our best to cater for dietary needs, but our small kitchen means we can’t guarantee against cross contamination. If you have a severe allergy, please email us before visiting to discuss your requirements.
