Silverkarp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix)[3] är en fiskart som först beskrevs av Valenciennes, 1844. Silverkarp ingår i släktet Hypophthalmichthys och familjen karpfiskar.[9][10][11] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som nära hotad.[1] Arten förekommer tillfälligt i Sverige, men reproducerar sig inte.[11] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.[9]
