Sern Prime was a temperate planet[1] in the Sern Prime system in an intersecting portion of the Colonies and square L-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[2] Situated near the Rimma Trade Route and the Corellian Trade Spine,[1] Sern Prime served as the centerpiece world of the Sern sector. Sern Prime was home to various population centers including Witzer and Senova, where a culture of technology and the arts took form in various forms across the world's various regions.[1] Sern Prime was represented in the Galactic Senate of the Galactic Republic by Senator Fang Zar during the Clone Wars. Part of the Delegation of 2,000, Zar was arrested on charges of treason one day after the rise of the Galactic Empire, along with sixty-two others.[3]
