Ketenylidene

Ketenylidene is a ligand in organometallic chemistry with the chemical formula :C=C=O. As a chemical compound, it is a very unstable carbene also called dicarbon monoxide. The ligand can be formed by carbon monoxide molecules becoming attached to carbon-metal coordination complexes.[1]
