The Italian Co-belligerent Army, was the name given to what was left of the Italian Army after September 1943 during the Italian Civil War and Campaign of World War II from 1943 to May 1945. These units were still loyal to the King of Italy and the Anti-fascist government located in the South of the country and also participated in battles of the campaign with the Western Allied forces in Italy (mainly the UK and US) against the Wehrmacht (German army) and the National Republican Army (the army of the Italian Social Republic, the German puppet state in the north of the country).
