Dark Enlightenment

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Dark Enlightenment, also called the neo-reactionary movement (NRx), is a movement that is against the Enlightenment. This movement rejects the idea that society should progress towards greater equality and liberty.[1][2] This has been endorsed by very wealthy people in the tech industry like Elon Musk. It has also been followed by people associated with Donald Trump like JD Vance. It has been described as wanting to accelerate capitalism.[3] The figures behind Dark Enlightenment are Curtis Yarvin and Nick Land.[4] Dark Enlightenment is often associated with the alt-right.[5]
