Cox Communications

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cox Communications (known as also Cox Cable) are an American telecom service group who also provide Internet and telephone in addition to cable television. They were established close to February 1962.

In May 2025, Charter Communications and Cox agreed merging with each other for just under $34.5 billion.[1]

Until the early 2010s Cox were offering wireless service with four United States markets. Those included Omaha, Nebraska, Orange County, California, Hampton Roads, Virginia and Oklahoma City. The wireless brands from Cox, though, were phased out and decommissioned.
