Christian Dashaun Menefee (/ˈmɛnəfi/; born April 18, 1988) is an American politician and attorney who has been the U.S. representative for Texas's 18th congressional district since 2026.[1] He is a member of the Democratic Party. Menefee was County Attorney for Harris County, Texas from 2021 to 2026. He was the youngest person and the first African-American to hold the office.[2][3][4]
