Borislav Biserov Mihaylov (Bulgarian: Борислав Бисеров Михайлов; 12 February 1963 – 31 March 2026) was a Bulgarian professional footballer. He played as a goalkeeper. He was president of the Bulgarian Football Union from 2005 until 2019 and again from 2021 until 2023. He was the longest-serving president of the Bulgarian Football Union. He was also a member of the executive committee of UEFA.^[1]

Mihaylov was captain of the Bulgaria national team. He also played at the 1986 FIFA World Cup and 1998 FIFA World Cup.

Personal life and death

In 1998, he married former rhythmic gymnast Maria Petrova. Borislav is the son of former Bulgarian international goalkeeper Biser Mihaylov, and the father of Bulgarian international goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov.

In November 2025, Mihaylov was hospitalized Sofia, Bulgaria because of a stroke.^[2] He died four months later in Sofia on 31 March 2026, aged 63.^[3]
