Acts of the Apostles

The Acts of the Apostles is the fifth book of the New Testament. It records the events that happened shortly after the Resurrection of Jesus to the Twelve Apostles, following the timeline of the Gospel of Luke, as well as recording the ministry of Paul the Apostle until his time in Rome.
Most scholars believe that Acts and Luke were written by the same author, with Acts coming shortly after Luke, both being dated to the late 1st-century (CE),[1][2] though these dates have been challenged.[3][4] Neither of these works originally named their author, but he is traditionally thought to be Luke the Evangelist who travelled with Paul.[5][2] The majority still believe that Acts was written by a companion of Paul, but some scholars highlight conflicts between Acts and the Letters of Paul.[6][7][8]
