NEW YORK, December 6 2006—Recording artist, Sevendust, and their wholly owned record label, 7Bros. Records, today announced a partnership with Asylum Records, part of Warner Music Group’s (WMG) Independent Label Group.  Asylum Records is distributed by WEA Corp., WMG’s U.S. sales and marketing company.

The first project together will be Sevendust’s sixth full-length album, Alpha, due in stores, March 6, 2007.  To coincide with the release the lead track “Deathstar,” has been made available via stream at www.sevendust.info.  

Sevendust will also embark on a 57-date headline run beginning February 8, 2007 though April 28, 2007.  Holiday tour dates previously announced are as follows:

It seems like everyone is able to ask questions to sevendust. Hehe. Hey, never a bad thing.

I wish I could've posted this earlier but I've been at school. Real Magic TV is doing another interview with Sevendust (If you haven't seen the first one, watch it somehow! The live version of Angel's son is to die for)

Anyway, the host (who is a magician and creates these episodes where he asks fan questions, does magic for them, and puts it with concert footage online) is doing the interview the day after tomorrow!!! It's is way quick, but hey, we can still get some in, right?

so i got to meet morgan, lajon, and sonny tonight at wild woody's in roseville, mi. they were there promoting the new cd. well my boyfriend and his best friend are good friends with the guys so we got to hang out with them for most of the night. i got hugs and kisses from lajon, and some killer hugs from morgan and sonny. they are so awesome.

there was a really cool person there to see sevendust though. i believe she was for the most part blind. i didn't talk to her personally but i know she was there to see the guys. lajon and morgan talked to her a lot and thanked her for coming and i gave up my drum stick that was signed by morgan and lajon to give to her. it made me feel good. im so glad the guys are so nice like they are.

i can honestly say that are some of the coolest people i have ever met. they are so layed back and talk to everyone. their music is amazing. between morgans drumming and lajon's voice and sonny and john jammin' on guitar and vinney on bass. together they make an amazingly talented band.

meeting the guys in person definatly gave me a different view of the guys and made me love them even more.


to top off my night. i was listening to 101.1 the wrif and i thought id call in. i asked if they could play pieces by sevendust and he was like im sorry we have the cd but my manager has it locked up but i can definatly play it for you tomorrow. and he asked me if i had went to see sevendust at wild woodys and i said yea i was hanging out with them for most of the night and i told him they were headed to annapolis for another thing like this and how much fun i had. and he was like ya know what ill put ugly on for you and i said i appreciate it because im on my way home and he asked my name and then when they came back from break he was like this one goes out to leslie that was at wild woodys tonight with the guys of sevendust..here's ugly. :) im still so ecstatic.

Hello to all 7DUST junkies like myself....I am on the way to New Orleans, La to see the 3rd show on the new tour at the HOB New Orleans. I have seen 7DUST 4 times there now and it is the best place I have seen any 7DUST show but just to say...all the shows have kicked major ass. I am catching a plane 5pm in Raleigh, NC and flying into New Orleans by 6:10pm there time...I am going straight to burbon street . I am meeting up with some of my good friends in new orleans that i haven't seen in 7 months. It should be so much fun. The only thing is I wish my baddass girlfriend could make the trip with me. She too, is a huge 7DUST fan. I cannot wait till we see them together sooner than later. Me and my girl have been together 5 months today. I tell you I am happier than I have ever been and think she is the rockin ass chick that i will enjoy for my whole life and spend many concerts together in the future.

I am new to LJ and to this community. If anyone want to add me to their friend list, just make sure you are 1) cool and 2)a 7DUST fan

I plan on writing a nice review of the New Orleans show probably Monday april 11th. Tune In to read!!!!
