The Boys has always been prescient, but it struggles to find a balance between social commentary & gross-out action that still feels fresh in season 4

I think there should be a crossover between the boys and GEN V 😀👍
And the three girls joining the boys their team that would be a cool crossover, more people that add to their ranks with butcher as the leader they can find a new person to play the the guy that died

Liked The Boys more than I thought I would. Fun when it is absolutely tearing into certain things. Homelander is a compelling villain and one of the best we have gotten in a while. Don't outright love this show though and probably never will. Just think it is really good.

I love the show as I never even heard about it growing up and l really love Eric kripke especially when he did the supernatural series with Jared p... thought it was a good move turning dean Winchester into soldier boy..hope this last as long as supernatural did!!

This series is one of my all time favorites! Even with its absolutely OBSCENE things... I think it's creative GENIUS! Just remember folks, it's ALL JUST FANTASY!!! The scene where the one sup sneezes while inside his lover's shaft... WOW! a
That particular part is what captivated me and had me glued to the TV and wanting more! Only cuz I am mature enough to realize they it is all just fake and make believe but later on, how possible and realistic the show was especially when it brought more and more political drama... oh the possibilities! Made me feel like, though extremely far fetched, this stuff could happen in the real world! Not that it will, BUT IF it did... it's as realistic as I could ever imagine! Bravo!

The Boys is absolutely the best thing to happen in Superhero TV to date, and that includes the MCU and DCU stuff. A dark, gritty show that looks beyond superpowers, and unveils what normal people would be like when granted these abilities. This is an outstanding show, but definitely not for those who may be sensitive to violence, gore, sexual acts, etc.

Absolute masterpiece! The Boys is easily in my top 3 favorite series of all time. It’s a brutal, hilarious, and incredibly sharp take on the superhero genre that never pulls any punches. After the intensity of the previous seasons, I’m hooked and can’t wait for Season 5!2026-02-18 07:32:36

Been a great show overall but I’m clipping a star off duo to the below par season and anti climatic ending almost on almost the same level with game of thrones was expecting more of an epic final showdown and what was the plum of the gen v characters they added practically nothing snd soldier boy not bein in final episode was criminal I would based on previous seasons given a 9 but as I say gotta be 8 duo to this horrible season

The Boys has its good and bad moments. The earlier seasons are definitely stronger than the later seasons, as the show has taken a significant drop in quality lately, in my opinion.

While The Boys almost always succeeds at being a cutting satire of superhero stories, celebrity culture, and the chaotic nature of American politics, as the show goes on, it slowly becomes focused more on satire, drama, and shocking the audience with gore and sex than it is on action and delivering satisfying narratives for everyone involved. It's still fun to watch, but The Boys in its current form is far different from what it started as, and that's not always a good thing.

I did not find this show as comedic as the others, only a few laughs. In a show, there has too be some emotional parts and they showed it in the final episode. I love the realism of this show as it shows how people of this civilization would act after claiming such abilities. Of course there are some parts where I die out of boredom. Not many twisting events.
