While I'm a huge fan of television—with some of my favorite series including Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and The White Lotus—I believe that cinema offers a snapshot approach to storytelling that can communicate metaphysical themes and ideas like no other. Or maybe I've been watching too many Stanley Kubrick documentaries.
