About Nicolas Ayala

Nicolas Ayala is a Senior Writer for the Comics team at ScreenRant, with over five years of experience writing about Superhero media, action movies, and TV shows.

Industry Focus

With his encyclopedic knowledge on all things Marvel and DC, Nicolas enjoys diving into the deepest corners of comic book lore to highlight overlooked stories and characters. He also loves to craft fan theories and predictions about future comic book adaptations.

Favorite Media

Nicolas' favorite characters are the underrated Quicksilver and Dazzler, and he believes movie castings don't get better than Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin. Despite loving Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman, he looks forward to everything James Gunn's DCU and Matt Reeves' The Batman franchises have to offer.

Beyond the superhero scene, Nicolas' love for Back to the Future, Rocky, Terminator, Rambo, Dragon Ball, and '80s action movies grows exponentially every day.
