@SeeEestiLits Not quite. Tension has been high between Russia and Ukraine since 2014, starting with the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, which should have been counted as an unjustified invasion (Russian forces entered Crimea and "liberated" it from the "oppressive" Ukrainian "regime"). The annexation sparked the Russo-Ukrainian war. The next move by Russia was the war in Donbas, another region of Ukraine, from 2014-2022. In 2023, they finally made a full force invasion of Ukraine, this time attempting to wipe them out entirely, but covering it up (yet again, and unsurprisingly) by saying they're "liberating" the Donbas and "protecting their borders." Basically, Russia wants Ukraine back like the days of the U.S.S.R. - this is evidenced by similar, yet smaller scale, moves made toward other former members of the union.
@IzzyDeSade all good, but the full force invasion began in 2022. At the 24th of the February to be precise. A little bit of correction from someone, who lives there.

I've never heard the song, but if those are the lyrics, it sounds like it was written for small children. Not surprising it plays in a kindergarten.
I'm from a Baltic country and we're so close to the Baltic sea it's almost always cold, it's even colder than Sweden and Norway. We always get snow and rain so when I hear people complain about how not snowy and not cold it is just bragging
I'm taught that Santa lives a little bit outside Anadyr (russia) and he comes to Finland, then estonia, then Lithuania, the Latvia and then to the rest of Europe, it wasn't until about 2 years ago when I met my friend from Croatia that she told me that santa lives on the North pole
@SeeEestiLits I once had an apartment where the washing machine was in the bathroom and the dryer was at the end of the hall way so it could vent to the outside. Here when they convert houses to apartments they sometimes have to put things where there is room and a way to tie into the electric and water. But it made the hall way of the apartment smell like dryer sheets so that was lovely. lol
If the other Scandinavians are being attacked... What about Finland... He's so close... (btw I know Finland isn't a part of Scandinavia and that he's a part of Fenny Scandinavia)
Julge hundi rind on rasvane– Translates roughly as “The chest of a brave wolf is fatty”. Meaning- have the balls to break the “lamb” and you got another “meal” under your belt! I usually say it when people hesitate whether they should act or not. Go for the trip or not, take the job or not, ask that boy or girl out or not. Break that border in between action and fear.
