WordPress Origin Story

Around 20 years ago, when CMS were a perfect fit to make websites cheap and cool, this young and self-taught PHP programmer bet that WordPress would stand out in the future, so started to specialize in it one project and challenge at a time.

From custom native photogallery themes –to start with an easy project–, to an intranet made from a Custom CRM integration with a Monetized Private Blog Network of around 300 sites and +1k authors (the old way, back when no REST API), or also moving all those sites from single shared hostings and multiple providers to a mixed cloud in one provider.

Had the honor of being the main organizer of the 3 first ever WordCamps in Spain with the help of Packet Loss (❤️) and many sponsors, for some awesome years (2008-2010) in our dear Barcelona.

I’m actually co-managing the Tortosa WP Meetup group with my wife.
