    I support WordPress community organizers, helping them plan community events (meetups, WordCamps, and more!) that inspire people to do more with WordPress, connect the WordPress community, and contribute to the WordPress project. I cook great food, love to talk about wine, and knit a mean scarf.

    Wine, sci-fi/fantasy, feminism, Montessori, and shiny happy people holding hands.

    WordPress Origin Story

    I wanted to start a wine blog in 2006, and both my best friend and my husband suggested I use WordPress. I was hired in 2011 to manage the WordCamp program, and good gracious a lot has happened since then!
