EXCITING. ENGAGING. IMMERSIVE. INTERACTIVE. EXPERIENTIAL.

MoDI IS NOT A TYPICAL HISTORY MUSEUM

MoDI is a different kind of history museum. Instead of only showing artifacts, MoDI offers visitors interactive simulations, learning-focused video games, and various historical viewpoints.  Visitors of all ages want to return again and again. Located in two historic buildings at the Paul Revere Heritage Site, the museum celebrates innovation and encourages people to see the world in new ways.

Paul Revere was an uncommon figure who helped shape two major revolutions: the American Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. MoDI focuses on Revere’s post-American Revolution role as a business leader, inventor, visionary, and early STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) thinker. Museum visitors explore how the Revere family helped drive America’s economic growth.

This indoor/outdoor museum offers hours of fun and learning for schools, individuals, groups, families, and homeschoolers. From “I never knew that!” to “Can we play another game?”, MoDI’s exhibits encourage everyone to look at history in a fresh and exciting way.
