The Stud Collective

Videos and a podcast about local and guest djs and drag performers to SFs legendary Stud Bar. This is the first media offering from the Stud Bar and Stud Collective in SF. We have been home to queer underground performance since 1966 and now we want to share that with you through video, audio and writing. We share over 20 drag performers and 10 djs a week. This patreon gives us a chance to spread beyond 399 9th Street, beyond San Francisco and come to you. Our members will get advance access to our releases, as well as exclusive behind the scenes and extended cuts.&nbsp; The Stud Collective formed over 3 years ago to purchase the Stud Bar- the oldest queer bar and nightlife venue in San Francisco- saving it from increased rents in the cutthroat real estate markets of SF. We became the first worker-owned cooperative queer bar and performance venue in the United States. The Stud has always been on the cutting edge, it was one of the first bars in the area to offer health insurance, allegedly the first queer bar in SF to play punk music and has been the home to legendary and local legendary musical and drag performances- from Etta James to Sylvester to Ana Matronic to Juanita MORE! and many more.&nbsp; We continue today with one mission-&nbsp; Keeping San Francisco queer by providing a safe, welcoming venue for creative expression, celebration and nightlife.
