TIL pla is not dishwasher proof by ChocolateChipJames in BambuLab

PLA is also very porous, washing it with hot water is asking to build a bacteria farm in there hehe. (Hence why PLA prints are no baby safe nor food safe)

Printer settings or Screen’s fault? by bilicotico in printers

Hmmm I’m not sure what you mean with the last item? The soft proofing I do when I click print… there’s a checkbox to simulate the colors on the specific chosen paper so I believe I’m doing this right? But the last thing you said lost me, I’m looking at my print next to the original side by side, in any lighting it’s always darker than the original, it’s quite ok but the yellows specially feel not bright enough. Other images I printed I felt the same thing colors looked beautiful but not as bright

What would your method be to set up multiple (different) files/images on one sheet to print? by jibquinny in CommercialPrinting

Do you know if the inDesign workflow works well for tiff files?
I scan my artworks and scanner saves them in tiff, which I then open in Photoshop to edit/clean up.
I was then creating a second photoshop file in the size of the sheet, and placing the tiff there multiple times to print 2x 4x etc. An inDesign template sounds way quicker but I'm not familiar with inDesign, would it be able to handle tiff files and print them directly from it? I'm using ICC profiles on photoshop to print these scans as as close as possible as their original colors etc.

If I'm working with .Tiff images would that still work? inside inDesign...
I scan my artworks and the scanner saves them in tif, so I was using Photoshop to open the scanned image, edit, and then I'd create a second file the size of the sheet and place the tiff there multiple times, would love to hear your thoughts on how to do that in inDesign in a way I don't lose any image quality. 😃 thank you!!

Trying to print a stamp, but slicing is not working well by bilicotico in BambuLab

[–]bilicotico[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't now what that did, thank you for the tip!! the arachne wall generator did help a lot! Now at least I can see the art but still quite off. I'll thicken the art a bit, I drew it myself on procreate and vectorized in Illustrator that's not a big deal, problem is making it too thick will lose many details. I'll get a 0.2 nozzle as this is way overdue haha if still doesn't work well I might have to send this to be made as a proper rubber stamp.
Are ogirinal nozzles from bambu lab store a must? are there any good amazon ones you guys recommend? Thanks!!

Thank you very much! I've been considering a 0.2 nozzle for a while it might be the time. I never changed mine, do you guys recommend going with a bambu original one or those amazon ones with good reviews are ok too?

Thank you everyone for the wall generator tip, I didn't know what that was before, it's already looking way better but still quite off from the original art, I'll try to make the art file with sligthly thicker lines, and make the whole stamp a little bigger but it's already quite big so can't change that much.
This might be the one I have to have made as a propper rubber stamp hehe

yup she should not be there lol. Monica wins imho, sheldon likes things clean but he wouldn’t dirty his hands if it was too bad, Mon would do go the depths of hell before leaving something dirty in her place haha

Yes. 2 magnets to eachother one can be visible but the other I was hoping to hide for aesthetics

Thank you friend, I was mostly worried about strength, with a layer on top to hide the magnets, but it’s all good I can leave them visible and just glue them
