So in my field of public health we are mostly women. I feel like it might be easier to change culture in fields that are already majority female led? But that's just guessing. I have for seem seen policies come and go and no culture change. We have a book club at work where we discuss such things we had one on disability inclusion...I wonder if there is one on menopause we could use to keep the conversation going?

Girl, lay off here too! Government work means they place me in another lower position, essentially a demotion. Dealing with that stuff and perimenopause. I'm confused, depressed, and can't remember basic words! You are not ruining everyones day. Remembering we are human in the workplace is good, hard but a good thing. Depending on what state you live in the accessiblity accomidation and or PFML might be a good option.

Valid question. I wonder if there is some type of accommodation that can be made for us? It is a legitimate diagnosis. I know folks with Fibromyalgia get days or hours off as needed depending on how they feel. Seems like HRT and PMS for that could fall into that same bucket.
