Art & Display

Across 15 locations, Orange County Library System features exhibitions from local, national and international artists.  These exhibitions provide a platform for artists of diverse talents and mediums while simultaneously offering culturally enriching experiences to library visitors. The library also maintains an informative exhibit area on the second floor of Orlando Public Library. This space features illuminating and interactive exhibits curated by OCLS staff.

Market of Lights by Mansour E. Masse

Orlando Public Library

See culture, nature and the human spirit through the eyes of Haitian artist Mansour E. Masse. The acrylics on canvas celebrate everyday street vendors and honor their dignity, strength and grace. Masse’s work evokes the story of perseverance shaped by social and economic disparities.

Escape into the world of the Qing, Joseon and Yamato Dynasties; featuring lords, princesses and mystic warriors captured in colorful artwork. Inspired by Asian culture and lore, the artwork uses current technologies like Photoshop and AI enhancing to produce unlimited edition prints.

Fragments of Life: Faces and Forms

Artist Angie Vazquez presents Faces and Forms, a collection of drawings and paintings rooted in careful observation and the traditions of figurative art. Through portraits, studies of animals, and still life compositions, the exhibition reflects the quiet beauty found in everyday subjects. Working in graphite, pastel and oil, the artist explores the expressive relationship between line, light and form. Each work captures a moment of attention; an observed fragment of life – inviting viewers to slow down and engage with the subtle presence, character and meaning found within the simple forms that surround us.
