NookTails[nb 1] is a web manga series written by Cho Hanayo and based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The series consists of short, four-panel strips that feature Tom Nook, Timmy, and Tommy. A total of seventeen strips were published on the official Japanese New Horizons website and Animal Crossing series Twitter account from October 15, 2019[1] to March 20, 2026.[2]
All seventeen strips were translated to English under the name NookTails. The third, fourth, and eighth strips were posted by the official Animal Crossing Twitter account in March 2020, May 2020, and March 2021, respectively;[3][4][5] the second, fifth, and ninth strips were added to Play Nintendo under the "News & Tips" category;[6][7][8] and the first, sixth and seventh strips were available via Nintendo Today! in 2025. The first seven strips were translated to Korean and published on the game's official Korean website. The third to fifth and ninth to thirteenth strips have translated to Traditional Chinese and published weekly in Nintendo Today! in 2026.
