All versions use a third axis and 3D collision data. If the Genesis can run games with 3D polygons, what's stopping it from using 3D collision data in the game? The same applies to all other versions, since none of them are full remakes.

So are these height-maps turned into 3D? I'm guessing so because the walls aren't connected with the map itself.

Wow, how’d I miss this? Here’s hoping for Special Stages.

By the way, I’m surprised they used 3D collision data. So is it like those maps in Ocarina of Time, such as Link’s house and Hyrule Castle Town? Does the Saturn version also have 3D collision data?

@Gräpëjüïce: The graphics are sprites for the most part. However, the collision data for the levels are 3D.

I never knew this game was released on PC, and even then i thought everything was a sprite
