Removed in error?[]
Why was what I've put back removed? Zek's winning streak started 27 years before "FLS", set in 2373. Simple. If there were any ambiguity about when he and Ishka met, "It's been going on for over a year" in "The Magnificent Ferengi" deals with that. Archer4real (talk) 14:36, 18 October 2025 (UTC)
- You are correct that 2373 was the 27th year in a row that Zek won. However, to find the first year in which he won, you subtract 26 years, not 27 years, from 2373. 2373 - 26 = 2347. To see why this is, imagine that 2373 was Zek's 2nd year winning, instead. In that case, the first year he won is obviously 2372, not 2371 as it would be if you subtracted 2.
