Peyton List (born 8 August 1986; age 39) is an American actress and model who played Narissa in the first season of Star Trek: Picard.

Career[]

2000-2010 single guest roles[]

List began her career as a child actress at 14 years of age with her debut on Sex and the City, starring Kim Cattrall and Willie Garson. Next was Just Legal starring Michael Cavanaugh, Raphael Sbarge, and Faran Tahir in the series' premiere episode with Julie Warner in 2005. Also that year, List guested on Without a Trace starring Enrique Murciano and Eric Close. List was then in both CSI: Miami and CSI: New York in the joint "Felony Flight/Manhattan Manhunt" outing, with the former half featuring Grainger Hines and Peter Parros and in the latter, Evan Parke. In 2006, List guested on One Tree Hill starring Barbara Alyn Woods, with Brian George and directed by David Paymer. In 2008 she appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, starring Paul Guilfoyle, Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey, with Melinda Clarke. List later appeared in Monk (2009, starring Ted Levine, with Chase Kim). List would also guest on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the season 18 episode "The Newsroom" with Christopher McDonald and Mark Moses.

2010-20[]

List made her first guest role in the decade with Hawaii Five-0, executive produced by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci and starring Daniel Dae Kim, in the first season "Palekaiko". For 2011, List appeared on House of Lies, with Leonard Kelly-Young. List also had a small string of DC Entertainment production appearances, first as criminal Lisa Snart in The Flash. Her next DC appearance was in Gotham as Ivy Pepper. Her third DC Entertainment appearance was in Batman: Hush (with Rebecca Romijn, Jennifer Morrison, Jerry O'Connell, Maury Sterling, Vanessa Williams and Rainn Wilson).

Television starring roles[]

List made her first foray into lead roles in prime time beginning with Windfall (2006). The premiere, "Crash Into You", featured Matt Malloy and was directed by David Paymer and also included Marlene Forte. Frank Military also served as a producer on the series which only ran for a single season. List then appeared in Big Shots, costarring Jessica Collins, which ran from 2007-08. The series premiere included Rick Scarry and List's future fellow PIC performer Necar Zadegan. Both episodes also boasted Lisa Wilcox; "Tall Dark & Hairless" featured Carlos LaCamara and Wayne Thomas Yorke; and "Car Trouble" included John Harrington Bland.

List took on her next series lead role on FlashForward (2009-10) co-created by Brannon Braga and co-starring John Cho, with Shohreh Aghdashloo. The series premiere, which Braga co-wrote, included in the guest cast Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Loren Lester, and an uncredited Seth MacFarlane. Braga co-scripted the following installment, with Alan Ruck; "137 Sekunden" brought in Gabrielle Union, who returned in the next episode "Black Swan"; "Gimme Some Truth" reunited List with Michael Cavanaugh; Addai-Robinson returned in "Scary Monsters & Super Creeps" and "The Gift"; "Believe" had Gina Hecht lending her time; Union returned for "A561984", which also featured Ivar Brogger and James Frain; MacFarlane returned in "Queen Sacrifice"; Addai-Robinson and Frain were back together in "Course Correction", which also included List's future costar Michelle Hurd; "The Negotiation" saw the return of Gabrielle Union, as did the following outing "Countdown". Unfortunately, this series, like List's previous work, did not survive into a second season.

Recurring roles[]

In 2012, List appeared in five episodes of the fifth season of 90210, one of which was directed by Hanelle M. Culpepper. List appeared on another CW series, The Flash in 2015 in "Rogue Air" and "Rogue Time" respectively with Joey Aresco and Doug Jones, the latter being directed by Douglas Aarniokoski, who directed List again on Charmed (2020).
