Gregg Duffy Long (5 June 1953–24 June 1995; age 42) was the assistant to René Echevarria and Robert Hewitt Wolfe when they worked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
In 1995, he died of complications from AIDS and the fourth season episode "The Way of the Warrior" was dedicated to his memory. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, p. 260)
