1. A real estate adage emphasizing how important a good location is in determining the maximum value of a piece of property. A: "How is their tiny house worth so much?" B: "Because it's on a quiet street in an affluent neighborhood. Location, location, location." The fact that your place is walking distance from all these great shops and restaurants is a real plus. You know what they say—location, location, location.
2. By extension, used to emphasize the importance of something's location. Why on earth would you open a store in such an isolated part of town? Come on, good business is all about location, location, location. A: "Where do you want to hold the gala this year?" B: "We have to find a place that will really wow the trustees—location, location, location. "

Of a film, television show, or other video-based media, filmed in a real-world setting not located within a studio. We were actually able to film on location at the actual FBI training academy in Virginia. I always prefer shooting on location, though the unpredictable weather in this part of the country can make it tricky sometimes.
