1. To put one into a state of extreme excitement. The band drove the crowd wild when they played their greatest hit. That presidential candidate drives prospective voters wild by making ludicrous promises he'll never be able to keep. The show ends with a rousing musical number that is sure to drive you wild!
2. To make one very sexually aroused. His French accent is driving me wild! That buff dancer drove all the women in the crowd wild when he took his shirt off onstage. I wasn't expecting my wife to come out in such a skimpy outfit, but it sure drove me wild. We ended up staying home that night!
