To cover someone or something with something by pulling it on top. I drew a blanket over my head during all of the scary parts of the movie. We drew a sheet over the couch to keep it from getting damaged or stained in the move. Yeah, you dozed off on the couch, so I just drew a blanket over you and let you be.
