Thomas Stearns Eliot (26 September 1888 – 4 January 1965) ek kavi, essayist aur playwright rahaa.[1] Uu modernist poetry in the English language ke ek khaas jan rahaa jahaan pe uu art ke fir se jaagtit karis bhasa, likhe ke dhang, aur verse structure ke kaam me laae ke. Eliot ke uske critical essays, which often re-evaluated long-held sankritik biswas, ke khaatir bhi jaana jaawe hae.[2]
