The 25th Knesset has already assured itself a place in history as the worst Knesset in Israeli history. And yet, even when we have zero expectations of it, it still manages to surprise us by hitting new lows, over and over again. On Wednesday, in an all too typical farce, it approved Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's personal attorney, Michael Rabello, as the new state comptroller. Try to look surprised.
