2026-06-29profile: unmask net-nds/openldap[debug]•••Tests need it via REQUIRED_USE. Bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/972547 Signed-off-by: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> HEADmasterSam James1-0/+3
2026-06-01Try installing gentoo-kernel-modprep only where it's keyworded•••Signed-off-by: Michał Górny <mgorny@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> Michał Górny2-3/+2

2026-06-01controller: Increase connection buffer size•••Increase the connection buffer size to avoid tattoo throwing an exception when there's exceptionally large number of results queued up. Signed-off-by: Michał Górny <mgorny@gentoo.org> Michał Górny1-1/+1
2026-04-30pkgdev.tatt.template.sh: suppress --buildpkg for tested package•••It is wasted work and will never be used since we always --usepkg-exclude it. No point in building a new bin on each run. Signed-off-by: Eli Schwartz <eschwartz@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Arthur Zamarin <arthurzam@gentoo.org> Eli Schwartz1-1/+1
2026-04-30pkgdev.tatt.template.sh: fix the janky nonhandling of binpkgs•••--usepkg-exclude works great, as long as it is passed, and defangs --with-test-deps issues. We can get rid of repetitive emerges, and guard all calls -- it no longer matters whether bins of the tested package exist. Signed-off-by: Eli Schwartz <eschwartz@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Arthur Zamarin <arthurzam@gentoo.org> Eli Schwartz1-10/+9
2026-04-30pkgdev.tatt.template.sh: it is a MASSIVE red flag if pquery returns no name•••Don't just not bother passing --usepkg-exclude. The issue seems to be pquery is not just an atom reformatter, but actually looks up the ebuild, then prints the ebuild's atom. This also means it does visibility checks so the package disappears as ACCEPT_KEYWORDS does not include it. --raw forces this unhelpful behavior to go away. 2026-04-30profile: adjust use forces•••Some of these USE flags like pgo and frontends aren't useful for bootstrapping D support. Avoid setting for all old slots. Signed-off-by: Eli Schwartz <eschwartz@gentoo.org> Signed-off-by: Arthur Zamarin <arthurzam@gentoo.org> Eli Schwartz1-4/+6
2026-04-05profile: adjust sys-devel/gcc[ada] force•••Force it for >=12 so that you can bootstrap more easily with D too. Signed-off-by: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> Sam James1-1/+2
2026-02-15systemd/installer: add FEATURES="jobserver-token"•••Newer Portage is now stable w/ full jobserver support. Signed-off-by: Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> Sam James1-1/+1
