I open PDF files from my tablet on my computer to study. I'd like to keep my tablet as the single source of truth regarding my uni related stuff. That means I dont't want to download the pdf's on my computer. I can open these files with Sumatra, but e. g. if I have to restart my computer those (temporarily stored?) file handles are getting closed an thus probably the stored files deleted. This is frustrating because I always have to plug-in my tablet, open the files again and so on.
Describe the solution you'd like
Introduce an option which I can tick to keep files stored temporarily on my computer as long as I don't close the tab in Sumatra. So I don't have to worry where they are stored and I know they get cleaned up after I don't need the tab anymore.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Firstly I could just copy these files on my computer, but then I have to assure to keep the files in sync. Secondly I could use a cloud storage but I am not that familiar with the workflow with cloud storage especially with file conflicts etc. Thirdly I can life with the problem and just reopen the files whenever they are closed, but that isn't that comfortable.
