Is there an existing issue for this?
Describe the bug
Several blog thumbnails on the Blogs page are cropped inconsistently, causing important visual content such as logos, diagrams, and text to be partially hidden. This makes some articles difficult to identify at a glance and results in an inconsistent browsing experience.
Examples observed include:
- Apache Spark Architecture Explained
- GitHub Copilot Coding Agent
- Azure Data Pipeline Cost Optimization
- Batch vs Streaming article
The issue appears to be caused by the current image rendering strategy used for blog cards.
Expected behavior
- Blog thumbnails should display important visual content clearly.
- Images with different source dimensions should be handled consistently.
- Logos, diagrams, and text inside thumbnails should remain visible.
- The Blogs page should maintain a uniform and professional appearance across all cards.
