Describe the issue:
It routinely takes me 20+ seconds from launching Positron to having a working interactive R console available. It's not uncommon to take 30+ seconds, and sometimes fail to do so entirely. Such long startup times often make me choose other tools over Positron instead.
Expected or desired behavior:
For reference, it usually takes me about 10 seconds in RStudio (2024.12.0 Build 467) and 1-2 seconds in RGui (4.5.1). The about 10 seconds would be expected and seems to be in the tolerable range, as I've never really found startup times frustrating in RStudio. The sub 2 second time would certainly be desirable, though.
Were there any error messages in the UI, Output panel, or Developer Tools console?
11 errors and 21 warnings in the developer tools console.
