There is one C++ feature I really think must go!

Here are some hints:

(Fortunately this has a specific check with some compilers today)

Conclusion

Almost every inefficiency and many of the potential logic bugs and memory errors I teach and have to track down myself come down to just simple implicit conversions.

If we could disable this feature, and make C++ developers wrestle with the choices they are making (and use the correct types and/or auto) we could eliminate entire classes of bugs.
