I've been around the MetaBrainz ecosystem long enough to have been a GSoC student, a contributor, and now a mentor — all in that order. four years running of GSoC and counting.
I like distributed systems, clean APIs, and code that fails loudly rather than silently. Go is my language of choice lately. Python when I have to. TypeScript when the frontend insists.
