GitGem

Add the GitGem badge to your README

A small SVG for your README that links back to your GitGem page and shows your live trending rank and star count.

How to get listed on GitGem.org?

The badge is how you go live. Adding it to your README proves you can edit the repo, and the link it carries is what we list projects for. The steps:

  1. 1Add the badge to your README. Generate the snippet below and commit it to your repo.
  2. 2Submit your repo. Head to the Submit page (or the Submit button in the header) and paste your repository URL.
  3. 3We run a quick check. If the badge is in your README, your entry goes live on the Showcase right away. No badge yet? Your submission waits for our team to review it.

Sign in with the right account. Ideally the GitHub account you submit from is the owner (or a maintainer) of the repo. The badge is what verifies access, so the snippet has to come from someone who can edit the README.
