Lerone O. James (born May 6, 2006), professionally known as rexv2, is an American recording artist, rapper and record producer from Houston, Texas.

rex began releasing singles from 2023 to 2024, when he dropped “BLASIAN” and “bass”.
He started gaining attention by producing “Miley” by xtsy* and “Shrek” by Xasper, that both blew up.

In 2025, he released his debut album ABERRATION, containing one of his most notable tracks, “CONTROLLA”, sampling Drake’s namesake hit. Later in the same year, he would release singles “Hit Yo Top” and “BUFF BBY”, followed by “YOUTUBE”, which anticipated his sophomore album Winners Circle.
