The Gloucester County Education Association (GCEA) represents 8,000 public educators across all job categories in nearly 40 Gloucester County local associations.

The GCEA upholds the contracts negotiated with boards of education, and advocates for its members’ professional rights.

In addition, the GCEA supports many projects and activities that benefit our schools, students, and communities. Through the NJEA Public Education Partnership (PEP) grant program, we have funded a variety of initiatives to benefit the communities we serve.

Studies show that strong professional associations such as the GCEA effectively advocate for their students and communities. School districts with strong professional associations like the GCEA also have better educational outcomes for students.

We are proud of the work we do in Gloucester County and we are proud to be a strong partner in public education!
