It was working perfectly before the reinstall, but now whenever I try to launch a mod I get the following error: Failed to prepare to launch the game. Failed to detect game version. Invalid DOS

So, i have downloaded the basic mod template on archive.org using the computer, but when dragging in to mods, when i launch to lucas' mod launcher, It says that It couldn't find meta.ini, so that mod doesn't appear, when reloading a lot of times, it keeps the same, help me, i'm gonna die
