5.0, 10.0, and 16.0 cpd of
visual angle and an average luminance of 34.4 cd/[m.sup.2] were used.

visual angle model for car-following theory," Nonlinear Dynamics, vol.
It all goes back to the
visual angle and how the brain interprets the information sent to it.
Compared to more conventional approaches that use either a concave mirror or a convex lens to increase the
visual angle of a holographic 3D image, this new approach can achieve a higher degree of freedom of display size and
visual angle.
In this case, a clear trend in the Task effect, F(1, 23) = 4.03, p = .057, [[eta].sup.2.sub.p] = .15 was found, with increased amplitudes for expression than for gender (M = 2.89 and M = 2.46
visual angle degrees -v.a.d.-, respectively).
At the top, from left to right, spatial frequencies of 0.6 and 2.5 cpd (cycle per degree of
visual angle).
At the viewing distance of 100 cm, the check edges subtend a
visual angle of 15 minutes with video monitor screen subtending an angle of 12.5[degrees].
The appearance detector depends on the shape information, because the image intensity is varying along the observation distance, and the shape is more robust feature which is affected by
visual angle and acquired easily.
Visual angle of the target could be changed as shown in the staircase paradigm (Figure 2).
They calculated that given the distance between an eye and the center of the display (750 mm) and the consequent
visual angle, the text font needed to be 5.3-mm tall, and while there is an ISO standard calling for a line spacing of 0.7x text height, they determined that a 1.2x text height was more efficient.
The quiet eye is operationally defined as the final fixation or tracking gaze located on a specific location or object in the visual-motor workspace within 3[degrees] of
visual angle for a minimum of 100 ms.
