As it is shown in Figure 4, on paper with a minimum content of OBAs, the luminescence peak is in the short area of
visible spectrum ([lambda] = 430-440 nm), partly caused by paper luminescence, partly by luminescence of PVP in ink compositions and luminescence of ZnO/Si[O.sub.2] nanoparticles in this area of
visible spectrum (see Figure 1).
Unfortunately, the eye's response to the wavelengths transmitted by this dense filter (only 3% of the
visible spectrum) is feeble because your retina's cone cells are comparatively insensitive to blue and violet light.
The
visible spectrum spans from about 400 nanometers for violet to 700 nanometers for red.
The top row consists of light emitting diodes (LED's) which in reverse bias mode, offer the feature that an LED will be receptive to wavelengths of light, less than their own peak wavelength and covering that area of the
visible spectrum of [lambda] = 520 nm to 400 nm with some incursion into the ultraviolet region of the spectrum to as low as 200 nm.
However, to the best of our knowledge, few studies examine the use of cosensitization to broaden the light absorption spectra of N719 in the blue part of the
visible spectrum. In this work, we report a new triazoloisoquinoline-based dyestuff, which can be used in a cosensitized dyestuff to absorb the blue part of the
visible spectrum.
What name is given to an optical device which splits white light into the
visible spectrum? 6.
It is well known that nanostructures constructed using metallic particles are capable of supporting surface plasmon modes with resonance frequencies in the
visible spectrum [1,2].
MSX adds the detail of real-time
visible spectrum images captured by the built-in digital camera to thermal spectrum images, providing extraordinary sharpness, contrast and clarity previously unavailable in thermal imaging, www.FLIP.com.
Coat'N'Cool is an architectural coating specially engineered to reflect sun light in the UV, IR and
visible spectrum. It was engineered through the use of waterborne epoxy technology and complex inorganic compounded pigments (CICP's).
