Immersion Corporation (Nasdaq:IMMR), a developer and licensor of
touch feedback technology, announced on Tuesday the signing of a license agreement with Panasonic Avionics Corporation under which Panasonic Avionics will get access to Immersion's patented haptic technology for use in in-flight entertainment systems.
It uses the same virtual cockpit with a 10.1-inch LCD screen above and 8.8-inch screen below, haptic
touch feedback, quad- zone climate-controlled AC and four USB ports.
Interactive models, some of which complete with voice, music, and
touch feedback, will appear on the screen.
The product is claimed to empower professional VR users to develop simulations with realistic
touch feedback and natural interaction for the first time.

The specs sheet list "new pressure-sensitive buttons and a new
touch feedback experience" with "Edge Sense 2" on another page, suggesting an introduction of the advancement of HTC technology.
The spec sheet indicates that the company is using a 'Liquid Surface design' and the smartphone could be equipped with touch-sensitive buttons for a "new
touch feedback experience."
"We're talking about anything from graphics, sounds and even
touch feedback able to be added into our natural world creating an enhanced user experience."
Immersion is the innovator of
touch feedback technology, also known as haptics.
The iPhone 7 also features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display, quad-core A10 Fusion processor, 7-megapixel FaceTime HD front-facing camera, 12-megapixel rear camera with 6-element lens, a non-physical Home button featuring Force
Touch feedback, and water- and dust-proofing to IP67 standard.
