Straphangers Campaign, a transit advocacy group, released its 9th annual Shmutz Report last week rating the cleanliness of the city's subway lines.
"In 2011," the
Straphangers Campaign continued, "the agency sent out those sorts of alerts for "controllable" incidents (those not involving circumstances like sick passengers and police investigations) 2,967 times.
Organized by Candy Apple Red Productions, the benefit concert will feature live music by New York bands After Chidori, Yo Scunt, Olde York,
Straphangers, and Providence band Reason to Fight.
