I don't do
sell-by dates but I have to confess if there is a pot of cream I just smell it.
An application for PS5,000 has been made to the Lottery's Awards For All programme to start a scheme where members could buy heavily discounted items, all near their
sell-by dates, which supermarkets would otherwise discard.
Dalton Phillips, of Morrisons, said: "The yoghurts I eat are often way past the
sell-by date.
The warehouse in question was located in Polemidhia, Limassol and was run by a 51-year-old man, acting as a distribution centre where products had the
sell-by dates changed before they were returned to the market.
"The stock was well past its
sell-by date," a spokesman for the PACP said.

In connection with the expanded JBS Swift Beef Company national recall, Hannaford Supermarkets is advising consumers to check their freezers for any ground beef or beef products with
sell-by dates ranging from April 28 through June 6.
